Great pub and restaurant in the heart of Portree. We visited a few times over the course of a week, having dinner and popping in and out for drinks. The service was friendly, dinner was excellent and drinks by the fireplace was just what we needed on those chilly Skye days. Would absolutely recommend!

Our first visit to Scotland on a family trip and decided to pop in here for a quick beer and some chips for the kids. Although out of season, it was a lovely warming atmosphere, staff were polite and accommodating. Amazing open fireplace in the main bar area! Food menu looked amazing! Good beer/gin/whiskey selection, bar food simple but comforting. Definitely worth a visit if you decide to take in Portree Harbour, shops and gift shops.

Exceptional Dining Experience at The Isles Inn, Isle of Skye During my first visit to Scotland on a road trip, I had the pleasure of dining at The Isles Inn in the Isle of Skye for dinner—and it was such a fantastic experience that we returned the following night. Despite having different staff on each occasion, both the food and service remained consistently excellent. On the first night, I ordered the haggis and a burger, which was served with fries. The haggis was so delicious that I couldn’t resist having it again on our second visit. That evening, I also had the chef’s pie of the day, which was venison, followed by a delightful sticky toffee pudding. Every dish was packed with flavour and offered fantastic value for money—the best food I’ve had on my trip so far. A special mention must go to our server, Olive, who was incredibly attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. He took the time to share some of the history behind this family-run establishment and even offered helpful tips for future visits to Skye. Overall, The Isles Inn delivers outstanding food, warm hospitality, and an authentic taste of Scotland. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Great food and portions- restaurants was quiet and well kept. I didn’t stay in the rooms so I can’t say much about that but the food was affordable and tasty. The service was a bit off but other than that we enjoyed the experience and Location.

Vraiment incroyablement typique. Ambiance du pub exceptionnel. Cuisine traditionnelle tout aussi exceptionnelle. Quelle immersion dans la vie de ce village Ecossais si typique, si dépaysant. les chambres laissent à désirer mais le reste est tellement dans son jus que cela fait partie du plaisir. On a adoré cette ambiance, ce point de vue, ce dépaysement. L'endroit le plus typique de tout notre voyage et un des plus agréable.

We stepped in to drink and eat something. We waited 15 mins to get the order. After additional 15 mins, the waitress came saying that they had issues and lost our order. Taking the order again, at least we got something to drink after 30 mins we entered the pub. Fish and Chips was definitely great. The other plate was wrong: they brought a bacon cheeseburger to a vegetarian person :/ Nice pub, good food, service to be improved substantially, great position.

一切都很好，因為在觀光地區消費比較高，其他都不錯。有吃到一個花椰菜排很驚人，不能說是好吃，只能說「很特別」。請店員推薦威士忌，真的好喝，不愧是蘇格蘭威士忌！

I ordered a drink with ginger beer, which the bartender said he could make for me. The drink then came with ginger ale, which has a significantly different taste. To my comment, he only answered, that he only had that. I would have liked it if he had said it from the start, then I would have taken a different drink. Plus it's not that comfortable, the whole thing seems more like mass processing. As soon as we had finished eating, the bill was placed on the table. The food was mediocre.

Went for dinner on the last night of our holiday and wish we had chosen differently. Waitresses all had an attitude, food was not fresh, dry and unseasoned and just generally not appetising at all. We left the majority of it on the plate, paid and left. Really disappointing experience.
